Ten years ago I started teaching at Houston Baptist University where I am a professor in Bilingual and English as a Second Language in our teacher-training program. My passion for writing led me to complete one of my dreams: my first book, Writing: A Path to Yourself. I would like to share my book as well as my writing workshops where I get as inspired and moved as my students do, as we access our personal stories through memories accessed via things we see, songs we hear, scents we smell, overheard conversation, collections, dreams and reflections.
